Under-19s lose friendly matches to Switzerland

The Malta Under-19 side lost two friendly matches against Switzerland which were held on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. The team managed by coach Silvio Vella is currently preparing for the UEFA Under-19 mini-tournament which will be held in Malta next month. Malta will host the Czech Republic, Netherlands and Cyprus.
In the first match, Switzerland won 4-0. The visitors scored two in each half thanks to Rodriguez and Xhaka in the first half, Buff and Seferovic in the second.
In the second match, Malta suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat, ending with ten men after having a player sent off. Kasami scored the only goal for Switzerland.
