Tarxien Rainbows forward Denni Rocha Dos Santos’ solid performances on the football pitch led him to clinch the BOV Player of the Month Award for October.
This honour was a deserved reward for a player who has made an impact with his solid performances for Tarxien Rainbows, helping them obtain eight points in the league so far. The two goals scored in October, one against Sliema Wanderers and one against Msida St Joseph, turned out to be important in the Rainbows’ bid to achieve their pre-set targets in the top sphere of Maltese football.
Besides a sharp eye for goal the player also has excellent ball distribution skills and a high work-rate. Such qualities will come in useful as the team from Tarxien seek to maintain and also improve their standing in the table.
Charles Grech Soler, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Paola Branch congratulated the player for his achievement and presented him with the BOV Player of the Month Trophy. Mr Rocha dos Santos chose Ursuline Sisters of Tarxien to benefit from the cash donation made by BOV in relation to this award.
