Under-19 side loses to Czech Republic

The Czech Republic scored four goals in the first thirty-five minutes to beat Malta 4-0 in another match from the UEFA Under-19 Championship Group 10 mini-tournament at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.
The Maltese were a disappointing lot during the first half. Ladislav Krejci put the Czech Republic ahead on 8 minutes, Petr Putz doubled the score five minutes later and on 29 minutes, Zdenek Folprecht converted a penalty to make it 3-0. Petr Putz scored the fourth goal ten minutes from the end of the first half.

In another match, the Netherlands defeated Cyprus 5-1.
Rajiv van La Parra put the Dutch ahead on 26 minutes and Leandro Bacuna doubled the score nine minutes later. Six minutes from the end of the first half, Geoffrey Castillion scored the third goal for the Netherlands.
Lorenzo Burnet made it 4-0. Cyprus pulled one back thanks to an own goal by Imad Najah on 86 minutes but two minutes later, Charlton Vicento restored a four-goal lead for the Netherlands.
