Foreign coaches, national team players to conduct training camp at San Gwann nursery

Four UEFA qualified international coaches, and a couple of National Team Players will conduct a four day training camp organized by the San Gwann F.C. Youth Nursery. This is another activity with an international flavour organized by the saints’ nursery, and will be the first of at least five major international activities that the boys and coaches from the club will participate in during the coming year.
The training camp, which will be held during the first week of January is open for the Nursery boys born between 1997 and 2002, and will be held at the clubs’ Training Centre and the Ta’ Qali National Technical Centre.
The International trainers, two hailing from Italy and another two from the Czech Republic are Giuseppe Galluzzo, Antonio Pinto, Timoslav Richter and Oldrich Januszka. All four coaches have UEFA A and B Coaching licences. Giuseppe Galluzzo has played with a number of clubs in Italy, notably with AC Milan during the season 1979/80, where he also scored two goals. He is currently one of the organizers of the famous Milan Campus, an international training programme organized annually by the Serie A giants. Antonio Pinto is no stranger to Malta, as he was one of the principals of the Messina Calcio Football School. Today Mr. Pinto directs the Licata Calcio and even scouts for various top clubs in Italy. Mr. Januszka is the current senior head coach of FC Dosta Bystrc, who play in the 3rd Division of the Czech Republic, whereas Timoslav Richter is chief trainer of SK Moravská Slávia Brno.
The nursery administration would like to notify those interested that there are still a limited number of openings for participation in this training camp. Please note that these are on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested parties should contact Mr. Christopher Sant, Nursery Secretary on canaries@nextgen.net.mt.
The San Gwann F.C. Nursery would like to thank Mr. Robert Arrigo and Mr. Leo Brincat for supporting it in the organization of this international activity.
