Diploma in Physical Training

The MFA, through its Technical Centre, will be conducting a course leading to a Diploma in Football Physical Training early in 2010. The lecturers in this course will be local and foreign, all specialised in the subject.
The course is intended for graduates or last year’s students in physical education/ sports science/ physiotherapy/ related fields in order to give them an opportunity to focus on football physical training. In this way they will be able to assist the Malta FA and member clubs in their needs.
The course will consist of six (6) modules spread over six Saturdays which will not be necessarily consecutive. At the end of the course participants will be required to sit for an examination and after qualifying they will be awarded the relative diploma. It is to be noted that applicants will have to sit for an interview prior to being accepted for the course, which will only be held if a minimum number of suitable participants is found.
Those interested are kindly requested to inform Luca Pagani at the MFA Technical Centre, West Stand, National Stadium, Ta’ Qali by means of a letter addressed to him or an email at: luca.pagani@mfa.com.mt by not later than Monday 18th January 2010.
Details of the course once the decision is taken to go ahead with it will be given to accepted candidates.
Member clubs and member associations are kindly requested to inform anyone deemed to have the necessary qualifications about this course.
