Three Premier League players suspended

Three BOV Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner. The players are Brian Said (Floriana), Massimo Grima (Qormi) and Gianluca Calabretta (Tarxien).

Said is ruled out of the game against Birkirkara while Grima and Calabretta will be missing the game Qormi vs Tarxien.

In Division 1, Balzan Youths had four players suspended – Glenn Tanti for four, Simon Shead, Jonathan Francica and Clayton Caruana for two and Rennie Forace for one. Mota also had three players suspended – Jonathan Debono, Kane Paul Farrugia and Bryan Agius – all for two matches.

Florent Raimy (Marsaxlokk), Justin Spiteri (San Gwann), Gordon Failla (St. Patrick) and Jeffrey Chetcuti (Vittoriosa) were banned for one game.

Matthew Cocks (Gzira), Simon Gauci (Mellieha), Jason Saliba and Davide Mula (both Zurrieq) were banned for one game in Division 2 and Jason Galea was suspended for one game in Division 3.

In the Youth League, Ryan Scicluna (Birkirkara), Rene Duca (Hibs) and Carmelo Caruana (Kirkop) were all handed a one-match ban.
