Naxxar Lions joins Zejtun Corinthians on top Section B in the BOV Third Division after the Corinthians were held in a draw and the Lions won on Monday.

A goal by Darren Falzon gave Naxxar a 1-0 win over Sta. Lucia while Zejtun Corinthians were held in a goalless draw by Attard.

On Friday, Gudja United defeated Xghajra Tornados 2-0 while Swieqi United registered a most dramatic 4-3 win over Qrendi.

Kirkop are fourth on 15 points, followed by Gudja on 14, Swieqi and Xghajra on 12, Sta. Lucia 11, Qrendi and Sirens 9.

In Section A, Mdina Knights currently lead the way with 24 points following a 3-1 win over Fgura United on Sunday. Mgarr United lie in second place, two points behind the leaders, but have a game in hand.

In another match, Kalkara and Ghaxaq shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
