Under-17 side loses to Northern Ireland

The Malta Under-17 side lost 0-2 to Northern Ireland in a friendly match at the MFA Training Grounds, Ta’ Qali on Monday. The match was part of the local team’s preparation ahead of the UEFA Under-17 Championship Elite Round clashes against Slovakia, England and Sweden.

The Irish scored the two goals during the first half.

Another friendly match is in programme on Wednesday at the same venue.
