Finalists for the ninth edition of the Melita Malta Football Awards announced

The finalists for the ninth edition of the Melita Malta Football Awards which will be held on Wednesday June 2nd at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Floriana have just been announced.

The Award for the Best Goal of the Season will be open for the public vote through SMS on 50614914. These votes will be added to the votes from the interactive voting which will be held during the night.

The event will be broadcast on Melita Sports and on the Promotion Channel. The chairman of the organising committee Sandro Micallef remarked that he was satisfied by the response from those entitled to vote. Entitled to vote for the traditional awards were the ten presidents or officials from the BOV Premier League, the ten Premier League coaches and the ten coaches of the BOV Premier League clubs. Sixty journalists, producers of sports TV programmes, sports commentators and photo reporters.

For the other awards, there was full co-operation by those entitled to vote, especially from Second and Third Division clubs and Futsal teams.
