Ayrton Azzopardi was the hero for Hibernians as he scored twice in a 2-0 win for the Paolites over Floriana in the final of the Youth A Knock-Out.

After the game, MFA vice-president Dr Peter Fenech presented to trophy to Hibs captain Triston Caruana.

In a statement, the Executive Committee of Hibernians thanked the players and coach Edmond Lufi for their success and the youth team staff, in particular Henry Vella and Manuel Abela. The Hibs committee wished the young Hibernians players further success in their career.

Meanwhile in another entertaining game, Hamrun Spartans claimed the Youth B Knock-Out after defeating Qormi 4-2.
