Following a request by Birkirkara FC and to which there was no objection from either Sliema Wanderers or Valletta FC, the Malta Football Association decided that the Euro Cup match Valletta vs Birkirkara will be played on Wednesday 23 and the match Sliema Wanderers vs Valletta will be played on Friday 25. Both matches will be played at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 18:15.

The reason behind this request was because Birkirkara could play their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round game as early as Tuesday 29.

The Euro Cup gets underway on Monday with the game Birkirkara vs Sliema Wanderers.
