Malta Futsal School prepares for coming season

As part of the preparation for season 2010/11, Malta Futsal School recently held various sessions for kids aged between 9-11 years. These sessions served as a base to what will be happening this coming September, when the Malta Futsal School will kick-off its new venture. The kids attending these sessions were able to have a good feel of the excitement that this sport brings along with its fast technique and ability to improve their skills.

Forming part of these sessions, along with their wide experiences, were Mr. Vic Hermans – Head Coach of the Malta Futsal National team and instructor with FIFA and UEFA and Rowen Muscat – winner of the Most Promising Youngster Award in the Malta Football Awards and player of Birkirkara FC who also formed part of the Malta Futsal National team in the past.

The kids were also able to meet with players from the Malta Futsal National Team who also attended these sessions.

The Malta Futsal School will be kicking-off this coming September 2010 and sessions will be held every once a week at De La Salle College, Cospicua. The School will be open for all kids (boys and girls) aged between 7-14 years. Coaching and supervision will be held by specialised coaches who also form or formed part of the Malta Futsal National Team.
