The Under-15 and Under-17 teams from the Mosta FC Youth Nursery left Malta this weekend with their destination being the Republic of San Marino where they will be participating in the San Marino Cup.
The fifty-one strong contingent consists of players, coaches, nursery officials and also parents who will be based in nearby Riccione. Sixty-five (65) teams from fifteen (15) nations will be taking part in all categories.
The group was led by nursery committee members Simon Henwood and Ray Vella along with the respective team coaches Herman Bugeja (Under-15) and Jason Camenzuli (Under-17).
The San Marino Cup will take place on the nice grass soccer grounds of the Republic of San Marino whose territory is part of the Italian peninsula. San Marino will also be the location of the official tournament headquarters, called OLYMPIC MULTISPORTS CENTER and the Olympic soccer stadium of Serravalle where the great opening ceremony will be held as well as the main final games. Other quality natural grass and astroturf grounds will be available in Rimini, Riccione, VillaVerucchio and the San Marino area.
The San Marino Cup starts on the 5th July and ends on the 11th July.
