Hibernians conclude transfer of two foreign players

Hibernians FC have finalised the transfer of two new foreign players, namely Paul McManus and Matthew Clarke. The two players were in the Paolites squad for the JPL Cisk Lager Tournament which was played on Friday at the Hibs Stadium.

Twenty-seven year old Scottish striker Paul McManus played for East Fife, Raith Rovers, Albion Rovers and Stranraer. His last club was East Fife. On the other hand, twenty-nine year old Englishman Matthew Clarke started his career as a trainee with Wolves but moved to Halifax Town. He then played for Darlington and Bradford City.

McManus and Clarke are the first two foreigners for Hibernians after they released the three foreigners who were on the club’s books last season, namely Christian Callejas, Elton Morelato and Miguel Lopes De Pina. The last two replaced Rumen Galabov and Olegs Malasenoks mid-way through the season.
