Third Division side Qrendi FC appointed Johann Scicluna as their coach.

A former player of Qormi FC, Mqabba FC, St. Venera Lightnings and Luqa St. Andrew’s, Scicluna was assistant coach with the Qormi Nursery, coach of the Birkirkara women’s team and also formed part of the technical staff of Premier League clubs Msida St. Joseph and Sliema Wanderers.

The appointment of Scicluna was the first signing for Qrendi FC following the election of the new committee for season 2010/11.

Daniel Farrugia was confirmed President, Carmel Farrugia as Vice President, Johann Azzopardi Secretary, Henry Jones Assistant Secretary/PRO while Ivan Camenzuli and Martin Cachia will be in charge of the club’s
finances as Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer respectively. Gerald Caruana, Jeffrey Sacco, Donald Muscat and Joseph Hedley are the ordinary members.

The committee wishes Mr. Scicluna luck and is sure that with his services the club will achieve its goals for
promotion to the Second Division.
