The second day of the Mellieha Challenge Cup saw Dingli Swallows edge San Gwann FC with a 1-0 victory whilst in the second game Mellieha SC defeated Sirens 8-1.

The next fixtures are to be played next Monday 23rd August when Dingli Swallows face Sirens FC at 18:00hrs. and Mellieha SC play against San Gwann FC at 20:00 hrs.

Dingli Swallows lead the way with six points followed by Mellieha and San Gwann on three and Sirens zero points.
