In a bid to reinforce their squad, Second Division side Mellieha Sports Club have secured the services of Bulgarian brothers, Nikolai and Rosen Filipov, whilst they are also in an advanced stage to sign Brazilian forward Fabiano Bassi.

Lija Athletic forward Daniel Cremona joined on a season loan whilst midfielder Philip Camilleri and Dingli Swallows defender Alex Portelli have been re-confirmed for the forthcoming season.
