Marsaskala FC made their official debut in MFA competitions on Wednesday as they suffered a heavy 0-7 defeat to Second Division side Zurrieq in a match from Group 5 of the Quick-Keno Second & Third Division Knock-Out.

In another game from the same group, Mtarfa and Qrendi shared the spoils in a goalless draw.

Meanwhile the first round of matches was completed later in the day with two matches from Group 8. Attard beat Luqa St. Andrew’s 1-0 while Second Division side St. Patrick defeated Kalkara 2-0.
