The Gzira United Training Ground, consisting of an artificial turf pitch, was inaugurated on Friday by MFA President Norman Darmanin Demajo, in the presence of Gzira Mayor Dr Chris Bonnett and the Head of School Mr Alfred Grixti.

The training ground is located at the St. Clare College Gzira Boys Secondary School.

Distinguished guests, attending the ceremony, included MFA Vice-Presidents Alex Manfre and Ludovico Micallef and CEO Bjorn Vassallo, KMS Chairman Bernard Vassallo, Government Ministers and Members of Parliament.
