Sliema Wanderers FCYN are pleased to inform you that they will be organizing the first edition of the Mid-Term Halloween Football Tournament at the Sliema Tigne Complex on the 31st October 2010 for age groups from Under-8 to Under-11.

The Tournament will start at 10:00am and will see all participating teams play against each other in a league format on one round. Matches will be played on a seven a side basis and the duration will be of 20 minutes each match. Each team will be entitled to register 12 players with unlimited substitutions. Clubs can register more than one team per category.

In keeping with the Halloween spirit of fun the main objective of this Tournament is to give the young participants the opportunity to enjoy playing football without pressure and to have fun on the occasion of Halloween. The entire Complex will be decorated on a Halloween theme, animators, fun games, inflatable castle, face painting and more activities will be held during the tournament. Clubs participating are encouraged to ask their respective players to prepare a drawing/painting which combine Halloween with Football and bring them at the complex with them on the day. All the drawing/painting will be used to decorate more the complex.

This Tournament will be held with authorization of the Youth and Grassroots Committee of the Malta Football Association.

PLAYER’S ELIGILIBITY
Under 8 – born 2003 (Fee €50)
Under 9 – born 2002 (Fee €50)
Under 10 – born 2001 (Fee €50)
Under 11 – born 2000 (Fee €50)

A memorable memento will be rewarded to all participating players.

Nursery who are interested in participating in this Mid-Term Halloween Football Tournament are to apply at the Head Coach – Sliema Wanderers FC Nursery, 1 Censu Scerri Str., Tigne Point, Tigne, Sliema by not later than Monday 25th October 2010.
