Dingli Swallows and Lija Athletic collected three points each as both registered identical 2-0 wins in the BOV First Division on Sunday.

The Swallows defeated Msida St. Joseph in a clash between the two teams who were relegated from the Premier League last season. Jareilly Chirino and Chris Azzopardi were on target for the Swallows. On the other hand, a brace by Antoine Sacco gave Lija a 2-0 win over Pietà Hotspurs.
