New sponsorship for Triestina Soccer School Malta

General Soft Drinks Company Limited, through Powerade, are the new partners of the Triestina Soccer School Malta which has just been launched in Malta. The agreement was revealed during a meeting for parents which was held at De La Salle College.

De La Salle College Assistant Head and Triestina Soccer School Malta official Kenneth Vella thanked parents for having faith in the school and De La Salle College director Bro Martin Borg fsc for believing in his project and for giving his full support.

Vella announced that the first training sessions will be held on Tuesday 16th November

Powerade will be the school’s official sports drink. Vella thanked Martin Agius from General Soft Drinks for his support.

General Soft Drinks announced that they will be giving the opportunity to boys aged 6 to 13 the opportunity to join the Triestina Soccer School Malta for free for a month’s training.

To apply, one has to visit www.powerade.com.mt and fill in the appropriate form online. Children may attend the Triestina Soccer School Malta open day which will be held on December 8th.

School Head Coach Peter Pullicino and Technical Director Alfio San Filippo will select sixty children who will join the school for a month’s training for free. This was made possible thanks to Powerade and Alfio San Filippo.

De La Salle College Bro Martin Borg fsc said that the agreement between the college, the Triestina Soccer School Malta and the parent club in Italy is already bearing fruit and in fact, two Triestina youth teams will be visiting Malta for a training camp in April. They will be accommodated at the College where they will also have their training sessions.

School vice-president Robert Busuttil gave the details regarding training sessions and said that Pullicino and the other coaches will be leading training sessions according to the work plan which was prepared by the Triestina coaching staff.
