Barbara, Nwoke to join Floriana

Floriana will be signing strikers Etienne Barbara and Daniel Nwoke. This was announced by Floriana team-manager Jeffrey Farrugia during the programme Replay Ikompli … on Radio 101.

Barbara spent three and a half years with Floriana after making his debut is season 1999/2000. He then moved to Marsaxlokk mid-way through season 2002/03. Two years later, he joined Birkirkara and in summer 2007, he moved to Sliema Wanderers. After spending a season with SC Verl in Germany, in summer 2009, he signed Hibernians but last summer moved to Carolina RailHawks.

On the other hand, this would mark the return of Daniel Nwoke to Malta having played here for six years. He was brought to Malta by Birkirkara but after a short spell, he joined Naxxar Lions. He then moved to Msida St. Joseph, leaving Malta in 2007 to join Tampere United in Finland. Since then he played for another three clubs in Finland, PP-70, TPV and PK-35.
