Futsal national team loses to Norway in friendly match

The Malta national futsal team lost 7-2 to Norway in a friendly match at the Cottonera Sports Complex on Thursday.

Norway took the lead on the 2nd minute thanks to Abdurahim Lajaab. Malta equalised two minutes later through Dean Gera. With five minutes to go for the end of the first half, Lajaab scored again to make it 2-1.

Stian Johnsen made it 3-1 early in the second half but Carlos Scicluna scored a second goal for Malta. However the visitors increased the lead through goals by Cato Ravlo, Thomas Klausen, Lajaab and Johnsen for a final 7-2 score.
