St. Andrews registered a comfortable 5-0 win over Msida St. Joseph in a match from the BOV First Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Kurt Coleiro put them ahead on 17 minutes. Patrick Briscoe White doubled the score on 23 minutes and three minutes later, Faisal Anakua made it 3-0. Matteo Desira Buttigieg scored twice on 55 and 73 minutes to seal the issue.

In the second match, Melita returned to winning ways as they defeated Balzan Youths 1-0. Simon Galea scored the all-important goal six minutes from the end of the first half.
