Zejtun Corinthians and Naxxar Lions shared the spoils in a goalless draw in this weekend’s plum fixture from the BOV Second Division. A result which still allows the Corinthians to take sole leadership as Mellieha lost to Zurrieq in another game.

In fact in the first match on Saturday, Zurrieq defeated Mellieha 2-1.

Zejtun lead the way with 26 points, followed by Mellieha on 25, Rabat and Naxxar 22. Rabat have a game in hand.

On Sunday, Gzira United take on Birzebbuga St. Peter’s while Zebbug Rangers face Mgarr United.
