Lija Athletic and Melita shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in a match from the BOV First Division on Saturday.

Marko Potezica put Lija ahead twelve minutes in the second half and Michael Cachia levelled the score for the Amateurs twelve minutes from time.

In another match, St. George’s came from behind to beat St. Andrews 2-1. An own goal by Emanuel Sevasta put St. Andrews ahead on the 20th but Mark Barbara levelled matters seven minutes from the end of the first half. Jonathan Ruiz notched the winner on 57 minutes.
