Three-match ban for Daniel Mariano Bueno

Tarxien Rainbows striker Daniel Mariano Bueno was handed a three-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off during the derby last weekend.

Another eight players were banned for one game and will be missing the last round of matches this weekend.

The worst hit were Marsaxlokk who will be without four players for the decisive clash against Qormi namely Rumen Galabov, Andrew Spiteri, Gareth Sciberras and Martin Deanov.

Hamrun Spartans had two players suspended – Massimo Grima and Dene Shields – who will miss the game against Vittoriosa.

The other two players to be suspended are Thomas Paris (Floriana) and Obinna Obiefule (Sliema). Paris and Obiefule are ruled out of the games againt Valletta and Hibs respectively.

Six players were suspended for one match in Division 1: Aaron Agius, Bjorn Bondin and Clifton Ciantar (Balzan), Kurt Formosa and Keith Darmanin (Lija), Andrew Caruana Scicluna (Melita) and William Camenzuli (Mosta).

Thane Micallef (Gzira), James Borg (Mgarr), Erin Azzopardi (Senglea) and Ryan Cauchi (Zejtun) were banned for one match in Division 2 while Adrian Psaila (Luqa), Trevor Fenech (Mdina), Arnold Grech (Qrendi) and Rudi Carbonaro (St. Venera) were suspended for one game in Division 3.

Stefan Aquilina (Mtarfa), Siraj Arab (Valletta) and Wayne Bartolo (Zebbug) were banned for one match in the Youth League while St. Venera kit manager Peter Gatt was handed a two-match ban.
