Siggiewi and Gudja United secured a place in Division 2 next season after both registered wins in Section A of the BOV Third Division on Sunday.

Siggiewi beat Qrendi 2-0. A win which puts them once again as joint-leaders together with St. Venera Lightings who were promoted last Thursday.

On the other hand, Gudja United defeated Attard 2-1 to take the points they needed to win promotion.

With two matches to go, Sta. Venera and Siggiewi lead the way with 43 points, followed by Gudja on 42, Attard 33 and Mdina 29.
