Valletta midfielder Roderick Briffa netted the BOV Player of the Month award for the months of April and May 2011.

The City midfielder was instrumental in Valletta’s forward play during this period where he scored twice against Hamrun and again found the back of the net against Marsaxlokk to take his tally to eight goals in the premier league this season. His positive performances during this period caught the journalists’ attention who voted him ‘BOV Player of the Match’ in the Championship Pool matches against Marsaxlokk and Hamrun.

Victor Denaro, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta presented the last ‘BOV Player of the Month’ trophy for the 2010/2011 football season to Roderick Briffa.
