San Gwann Youth Football Nursery have won the APS Under 15 Section B League organised by the Malta Youth Football Nursery, and have been rewarded for their achievement by the club with a a three-day holiday in Sicily this coming weekend.

The team will be hosted in Licata by Gattopardo SC and the families of their players, who will each host three players. The San Gwann team will also play some friendly games against their hosts and other teams from the Licata region.

The San Gwann Nursery has very strong connections in Sicily and plans for this visit were quickly arranged with the Sicilian teams planning to visit Malta in return during the course of the upcoming season.

The San Gwann Youth Football Nursery season comes to a close this coming weekend with activities for the rest of categories, culminating with the presentation of trophies and momentos for all the members.
