Following the resignation of Joey Falzon, Robert Kelly was appointed coach of First Division side St. George’s F.C. for season 2011/2012.

Throughout his career, Kelly coached several clubs, both at youth level and senior teams, including Premier League clubs. In season 1994/95, he led the Saints in their Premier League campaign.

In a statement, the club wished him success in their attempt to secure promotion to the Premier League.
