End of season for Malta Futsal School

The Malta Futsal School has recently concluded its first season since the opening of the School in September 2010.

School founders Jonathan Pisani and JeanBert Gatt consider this first season as a huge success. In fact, with over 30 members joining during the season, the Malta Futsal School (MFS) is the first school of its kind to open on our Island and now looks forward to its upcoming events and the seasons that follow.

The Malta Futsal School will soon kick off the ‘Summer Camp 2011’ which will be held at the Corradino Sports Pavilion in Paola every Thursday commencing on the 7th of July. There will be 8 sessions in total which gives the opportunity for new children to get a feel of this exciting sport.

Furthermore, the founders explained how they were impressed with the very positive outcome obtained during the first season. The sessions which were held every Thursday at the De La Salle College, resulted in huge enthusiasm from all members of the school and their parents. Children discovered what Futsal is all about and they were able to improve the overall fundamentals of a football player.

The forthcoming season will mark the growth of the school. While Thursday’s sessions will be held as usual at De La Salle College, the MFS will include an additional venue and new age group to the school. As from next season, the MFS will welcome members at the Sliema Wanderers Sport Complex, Tigne Point, Sliema. Sessions in Sliema will be held every Tuesday in both indoor pitches found at the complex. Both pitches will be used respectively for children aged 7-14 years whilst the other will conduct sessions for the new Under 7 age group.
