Michael Mifsud agrees terms with Valletta

Malta international striker Michael Mifsud will be back with Valletta FC after he agreed terms with the Citizens. The news was announced by the club’s official website www.vallettafc.net

Mifsud signed a four-year contract with the club with an option of a further year.

The thirty-year old striker who started his career with Sliema Wanderers and played for Kaiserslautern in Germany, Lillestrom in Norway, Coventry and Barnsley in England, had a short spell with the Citizens between March and May 2010. He left his mark with seven goals in seven league matches and helped Valletta win the U*BET FA Trophy and the National League 100 Anniversary Cup.

Last season, he joined Qormi early in February but his signing was not enough to spare the Yellow Blacks from playing in the Relegation Pool.
