Birkirkara take on KF Vllaznia in second leg

After losing narrowly last week, Birkirkara will be aiming for a positive result as they face KF Vllaznia Shkoder in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round at Loro Borici Stadium in Shkoder, kick-off at 19:00.

A goal after just two minutes was enough for Vllaznia to claim victory at the Hibernians Stadium last Thursday, therefore giving them a narrow lead in this two-legged clash.

Although the Stripes shared the exchanges with their opponents, they failed to create enough scoring opportunities thanks to which they could have notched the equaliser. In Shkoder, Birkirkara have no option other than score the goal or goals which would guarantee them a place in the next round and hence a clash with Swiss side FC Thun.

The players at the disposal of coach Patrick Curmi are:
Goalkeepers: Jorge Mora, Karl Magri
Defenders: Andrew Decesare, Andrew Scicluna, Angus Buhagiar, Joseph Zerafa, Marcis Savinovs, Ryan Camenzuli
Midfielders: Alan Tabone, Gareth Sciberras, Rowen Muscat, Ryan Scicluna, Paul Fenech
Strikers: David Silva, Jacopo Camilli, Leighton Grech, Trevor Cilia
