James Paris joins Mqabba on loan

Newly-promoted Mqabba FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Sliema Wanderers midfielder James Paris on a one-year loan.

Paris had started his career with St. Andrews and played for Pietà Hotspurs before joining the Manchester City Academy. He moved back to Malta last year, joining Sliema Wanderers.

Birkirkara defender Andrew Scicluna will be playing for Mqabba once again this year following a most positive season with the club last year in Division 1.

These two promising players will join another promising youngster, Ryan Sammut, which joined Mqabba a few weeks ago.

As regards foreigners, Mqabba have so far confirmed defender Branislav Timotic and striker Thiago Mazzittelli and signed midfielder Marko Potezica who played for Lija Athletic last season.
