Birkirkara, Floriana target second win

Birkirkara and Floriana will be hoping to obtain their second win in the BOV Premier League as they take on Mosta and Tarxien Rainbows respectively in the two matches at the Hibernians Stadium on Saturday.

In the first game, Birkirkara hope to see off newly-promoted Mosta after defeating Qormi in the first game. New team captain Paul Fenech is set to make it to the starting line-up after being retained on the bench last week due to an injury.

Mosta, on the other hand, will aim at collecting their first point or points on Saturday after losing 5-2 to Marsaxlokk last week. They hope to have Brazilian brothers Rivelino and Diego Maradona Petriaggi and striker from Cameroon Bertrand Michel Maki Mvonda in squad. Bryan Agius and Nikola Bogdanovic will be making their first appearance after missing the last game due to a one-match ban.

In the second game, Floriana have a more difficult task as the face Tarxien Rainbows. In fact, although they lost 4-2 to Valletta last week, Tarxien played a good game, giving the Citizens a hard time.

Floriana, who beat Mqabba 2-0 last week, should welcome back Thomas Paris who missed the first game and are likely to hand new signing Joseph Okonkwo his debut after joining the club last week.
