Blood donation by Hibernians players, officials and supporters

As part of the celebrations marking the club’s 90th anniversary, Hibernians Supporters Club will be organising a blood-donation activity on Sunday 23rd October in front of the Hibernians FC premises in Paola Square.

A thanksgiving mass will be celebrated by Dun Vincenz Deguara at 09:00 and then players, committee members, personalities and supporters could donate blood. The first 90 persons to donate blood will be presented with a certificate.

The committee will be setting up stands with free food and drinks for blood donators. Another stand will be selling club merchandise. Memberships could also be renewed during the same activity. Facepainting and other activities for children will also be available.

Supporting this activity are the Members of Parliament from the district, the Paola Local Council, the Paola Hibs Football Youth Nursery and the Paola Hibs Boys Ultras.

The committee encourages all organisations in Paola and the general public to support this event. To donate blood, one should present his ID Card. Those under the age of seventeen, need the approval of their parents.
