MFA announces changes in fixtures

The Malta Football Association announced changes in fixtures in the BOV Premier League, First, Second and Third Division and the Youth League.

The BOV Premier League matches Tarxien Rainbows vs Mqabba and Qormi vs Mosta which were due to be played on Saturday 29th October at the Hibernians Stadium will now be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, kick-off at 14:00 and 16:15 respectively.

Marsaxlokk vs Valletta will be played on Sunday 13th November at the Victor Tedesco Stadium at 15:00 and not on Thursday 10th as originally scheduled. On the other hand, the match Mqabba vs Hamrun Spartans will be played on Thursday 10th at the Victor Tedesco Stadium at 19:30 and not on Sunday 13th.

The changes for these two games were necessary due to the Malta Under-21 national team’s commitments in the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Sweden.

The BOV First Division matches Zejtun Corinthians vs Birzebbuga St. Peter’s and St. George’s vs Vittoriosa Stars will be played on Friday 28th October at the Centenary Stadium at 18:00 and 20:00 respectively.

The BOV Second Division match Gudja United vs Gzira United will be played on Monday 31st October at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 19:00 and not on Friday 28th.

The BOV Third Division match Fgura United vs Pembroke Athleta will be played on Monday 24th October at the Centenary Stadium at 19:00 and not on Sunday 23. On the other hand, Swieqi United vs Mgarr United will be played on Sunday 23rd October at the Centenary Stadium at 16:00 and not on Monday 24.

Mtarfa vs Sirens was postponed from Monday 31st October to Tuesday 1st November at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 19:00.

The Youth League Section D match between Fgura United vs Birzebbuga St. Peter’s which was due to be played on Monday 24 will be played on Tuesday 25th October at the St. Patrick Ground at 20:00.
