Under-17 side off to Montenegro

The Malta Under-17 national squad leaves Malta on Monday, destination Montenegro, where the team led by coach Branko Nisevic will be playing in the UEFA Under-17 Championship Group 11 mini-tournament between the 19th and 25th October.

The other teams in the group besides Malta and hosts Montenegro are Poland and Spain.

Malta plays the first game against Poland on Wednesday at the Training Camp in Podgorica, then Spain on Friday at the Mladost Stadium in Podgorica while the third and final match will be against Montenegro on Monday 24 at the Training Camp in Podgorica. The three matches kick-off at 14:30.

The players selected by Nisevic and his assistant Billy Mock are:

forwards Godwin Mackay (Mosta), Luke Montebello (Livorno), Rodney Refalo (Pietà).
