2014 FIFA World Cup: Malta hosts Armenia in first game

Malta will be hosting Armenia in the first match from Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying round on September 7, 2012 and four days later meet Italy away from home.

The calendar was prepared during a meeting between the top officials and coaches from the football associations of Armenia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy and Malta.

The third game for Malta will be once again from home against the Czech Republic on October 12.

On March 22, Malta faces Bulgaria away from home and four days later, Malta hosts Italy.

Malta travels to Armenia in June to Yerevan to face Armenia on the 7th. This will be followed by three home matches: against Denmark on September 6th, against Bulgaria on September 10th and against the Czech Republic on October 11th.

The final match will be played against Denmark away from home on October 15.
