BOV First Division leaders Pietà Hotspurs suffered their first defeat as they lost 0-1 to St. Andrews in a match at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Faisal Alnakua scored the all-important goal for Luxol.

In another match, Dingli Swallows defeated St. Patrick 3-0.

Leontiev Konda and a brace by Francis Owusu did the job for the Swallows.

The Hotspurs lead the way with 22 points, followed by Rabat on 18, Melita and Zejtun 16, St. Andrews 13, Naxxar 10, Vittoriosa and Birzebbuga 9, St. George’s and Dingli 8, Lija 6, St. Patrick 5.
