Valletta and Malta international midfielder Ryan Fenech joined Sliema Wanderers on loan till the end of the season.

A product of Hamrun Spartans, Fenech had a first spell with the Wanderers on loan during season 2009/10. Back with the Spartans, he joined Valletta in January 2011, signing a five-year deal.

The Wanderers could be without two of their foreign players, namely Brazilian duo Jackson Lima Sequeira and Jorge Santos Silva as the two stopped training with the club over alleged failure of payment of salaries.

The Brazilian players made a formal request to the association demanding their release. However the club has rejected these allegations.

Meanwhile on Saturday, Valletta will be announcing the signing of a defender from Burkina Faso, Saïdou Madi Panandétiguiri.
