Malta U-19 share spoils with Bulgaria U-17

The Malta Under-19 side shared the spoils in a goalless draw with the Bulgarian Under-17 national team in the second of two friendly matches at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.

There were hardly any shots at goal during the first half but after the break, with the wind blowing in their favour, the visitors tested Malta goalkeeper Jean Claude Debattista on a couple of occasions but the Maltese rearguard kept the Bulgarians at bay.
