Floriana versatile midfielder player Pablo Doffo is BOV Player of the Month for February 2012.

The Argentine defender’s performance during the shortest month of the year helped Floriana maintain the third position in the BOV Premier League standings which guarantees them a slot in the Championship pool. During this month, football pundits singled Doffo out for his fighting spirit and tight-making when he sacrificed himself as a makeshift central defender.

When he was switched back to his favoured midfield position, the Argentine showed all his ability to initiate his team’s attacking moves, making him a worthy winner of the February accolade.

Margaret Vassallo, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Floriana Branch presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for February 2012 to Doffo. The player chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation related to this award.
