Four teams chase their first win the second phase as Mqabba take on Mosta in a match from the Relegation Pool and Balzan Youths meet Sliema Wanderers in a Championship Pool clash at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Monday.

In the first match, Mqabba and Mosta will be all out to claim the three points after both were disappointed with the result of their last outing. Mqabba lost 0-1 to Tarxien while Mosta threw away a two-goal lead to earn just a point in a 2-2 draw with Hamrun Spartans.

Mqabba lost the last four matches – suffering no less than fourteen goals defeat to Mosta. Therefore the Reds are keen to obtain the three points from this game which would put them on level points with Mosta.

Mosta, on the other hand, are currently third in the Relegation Pool but a win would enable them to leapfrog Hamrun Spartans.

For the Blues, Kurt Magro is suspended but Dyson Falzon is set to be named in the starting line-up after recovering from an injury.

Following a 1-1 draw in the first round, Mosta defeated Mqabba 3-0 last month.

Meanwhile Sliema Wanderers will be all out to return to winning ways as they take on Balzan Youths after losing to joint-leaders Hibernians in their last outing. A win which would put the Blues in fourth place
together with Floriana.

Mark Scerri and Trevor Cilia should be back after missing the last game but Ryan Grech is suspended.

Balzan disappointed last week when they suffered a heavy 7-2 defeat to Valletta. They lost three out of the last five matches but against Sliema, they hope to repeat their first phase performances when they
held them in a 1-1 draw in the first round and defeated them 2-1 in the second.

Matthew Camilleri and Anthony Eviparker are suspended while Bledjon Guga and Nikola Tasic have been released by the club.
