Daniel Bogdanovic joins Notts County

Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanvic joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season.

Bogdanovic had joined Blackpool in August from Sheffield United but after making eight appearances for his parent club – seven of them from the bench, he spent a month on loan at Rochdale in January.

Speaking to the Magpies’ official website, manager Keith Curle said, “I’ve had a conversation with him and there’s a hunger and a desire there. He wants to play football, which is pleasing, and he wants to show what he can do on a football pitch. I know before he said he had a bit of an attitude, that’s gone. He’s a changed character, he wants to enjoy his football and this is a great place to come and do that.”

Notts County are currently eighth in League One on 56 points from 38 matches and are challenging for a place in the play-offs.

Bogdanovic played for Sliema Wanderers, Vasas SC in Hungary, Naxxar Lions, Valletta, Cherno More Varna in Bulgaria, Marsaxlokk, Ghajnsielem and Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria before moving to England to join Barnsley mid-way through season 2008/09. Eighteen months later, he joined Sheffield United but left the club early this season to join the Tangerines.
