Three Premier League players suspended

Another three Premier League players – Mosta striker Gilbert Martin and Mqabba duo Marko Potezica and John Ogechukwu Nwoba – were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Martin will be missing the game against Tarxien while Potezica and Nwoba are ruled out of the game against Marsaxlokk.

Rigers Ceka and Ilyad Scicluna (St. Patrick) were banned for one match in Division 1.

In Division 2, Alex Barbara (Zurrieq) was banned for eight months while Anthony Ewurum (Gzira) was suspended for two matches. Marko Milutinovic (St. George’s) Marko Milutinovic (Gudja) and Victor Micallef (Zurrieq) were handed a one-match ban. Zurrieq official Saviour Farrugia and Gudja United official George Caruana were banned for two matches and one match respectively.

Bjorn Dalli (Ghaxaq) was banned for two matches in Division 3 while Ricardo Severino Goncalves (Fgura), Matthew Vella and Clinton Camilleri (Marsaskala) were suspended for one game.

In the Youth League, Jonathan Bajada (Mosta), Francis Mansueto, Jonathan Micallef and Calvin Brincat (Sta. Venera) were handed a one-match ban.
