Xewkija Tigers won the BOV GFA Cup 2011/2012 after defeating Xaghra United 1-0 in the final on Sunday. John Camilleri scored the all-important goal for the Tigers.

For Xewkija, this was the fourth trophy this season after winning the First Division championship, the Independence Cup and the Jum il-?elsien Cup. Next Wednesday, they will be playing the Super Cup.

After the game, Xewkija were presented with the trophy by Jack Theuma, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Gozo Branch and Alvin Grech, President of the Gozo Football Association.

Meanwhile Kercem Ajax won the Second Division Super Cup after defeating Munxar Falcons 7-0.
