Champions hope to celebrate in style

Champions Valletta hope to celebrate the 21st championship in style as they take on rivals Hibernians in the final match from the BOV Premier League at the National Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 16:00

Valletta will be all out to claim victory in order not to disappoint their supporters. They won the last seven matches, extending their positive run to twenty-six matches without defeat.

On the other hand, after losing to Birkirkara in the previous game, Hibernians returned to winning ways, defeating Balzan 3-0. The Paolites will be aiming at upsetting the Citizens but considering the champions’ current form, Valletta start as favourites.

Hibernians registered a 2-0 win in the first round and after a 1-1 draw in the second, the third round clash ended in a 3-2 win for Valletta.

The Malta Football Association announced that sectors West A, West C and Millennium D of the National Stadium will be reserved for Valletta FC supporters.

Those in possession of the Valletta FC orange or white Season Complimentary Card may enter in the West C Stand. Holders of the orange Season Complimentary Card of other clubs do not have access to the West C Stand.

Ticket Booths for West A and Millennium D open at 12:30.

Hibernians FC will be staying in the Millennium F stand with ticket booths opening at 12:30 as well.

Valletta supporters should enter Ta’ Qali from the Rabat road in the direction of the Aviation Museum and use the car park in front if the enclosure. Entrance is from West Stand A, West C or Millennium A.

Hibernians supports should enter Ta’ Qali from Attard and use the parking area behind the MFCC. Entrance is through Millenium Stand C.
